First started in by two Hope College alum, Founders has grown to be a worldwide distibutor in their beer.
Stay posted for local musicians playing and other events offered. It is also possible to rent out the restaurant for a personal event.
Monday night tends to bring the heaviest crowd with their deals. While there is a large portion of college-aged kids (on Monday nights particularly), Founders attracts any age (above 21). By no means is Founders a college bar. Look around and you will see people of all age, all of whom there to enjoy some good company.
If you're looking for some munchies, rather than a full course meal, you are in the right spot. Founders offers a variety of sandwhiches, appetizers, and lighter bites; which are not to be underestimated because they will fill you up! Their guacamole and salsa are both homemade, an excellent choice for snacking. They are popular for their beer cheese, also homemade with a variety of cheeses, flavors, and a mix of their Centennial IPA & Pale Ale. All three of these named appetizers are served with locally-made El Matador tortilla chips.
