About TDA

TDA started as an idea five friends had together when they were in highschool. We wanted TDA to be a casual place for people to have fun and watch sports as we did when we were younger. It should be a place for friends to meet together and spend hours watching sports and eating food. So with the idea in mind we made it happen. As we all watched sporting events together and have some of our best memories from these times together we wanted others to experience the same joy we did.

Meet the Owners

Ian

My name is Ian and I currently attending the University of California Irvine, pursuing a career in business economics. Growing up, all my best memories were revolved around sports. Whether it was watching pro and college from my living room, or playing any of the various sports in my upbringing… All in all, I have always been destined to open my own sports bar.

Jackson

My name is Jackson. I am at Michigan State University studying economics. My junior year of high school I met the friends I would call my brothers. We soon called ourselves TDA. What does TDA mean to me? It means the bonds we make over sports, campfires, fishing, golfing, or just going to the bar. We have collectively decided to create this bar where everyone can get a chance to make these experiences into life long memories. TDA is the legacy we will leave.

Nico

I am Nico, I am currently attending the University of Michigan and I plan on majoring in public policy. Sports have been part of my life since I was five years old, starting with baseball, basketball, and soccer. The majority of my friends I made before college were because of sports, whether watching games together, or competing on the same team. To me, and many others, sports are about building relationships and teamwork. Public policy builds on the cooperative aspect of sports by requiring people to work cooperatively to develop the best solution to a problem. The idea behind TDA is to do the very same, bring people together. Opening TDA would be a lifelong dream for me and the rest of the team, as our collaboration we all developed from our respective sports would amount to a place where everyone can have a good time. Fans of football, golf, baseball, or even track and field can all experience the lively atmosphere of TDA, and enjoy the togetherness of sports.

Owen

My name is Owen. I am currently a student at Michigan State University, studying finance. Though my times in college have been fun, my closest friends were met in my high school times. We have been on a number of adventures together, we have done some pretty dumb things. But every second of it has been beyond fun. These people are the foundations I have been raised on, so we wanted to start something representing this idea. That is where TDA was developed. The idea actually started with all of us in a basement. We decided we wanted to create a place where we could all have a good time with each other and share some good times. It quickly changed to become a place where everyone can share these memories. This is the legacy we were meant to leave.

Ryan

I am Ryan, I am currently at Hope College majoring in business. Sports were pretty much my childhood. My entire life I have always wanted to play baseball and I even got recruited to play in college. That was one of the best days of my life knowing I was good enough to play. Sports were always my favorite to watch as well as play growing up and gave me something to do with my friends. Being a huge Michigan fan I have many great memories of watching games with my friends and it allowed us to have great moments together watching them win. When we brought up the idea of creating TDA I wanted others to share the same special moments as my friends and I. I hope you can have has much fun watching sports at TDA as we did when we were younger.
