Roman Holiday
While touring the European continent, and overwhelmed with an arduous schedule, a European princess, Ann (Audrey Hepburn), runaways from the embassy she's staying at to explore the Italian city of Rome. She meets a reporter, Joe Bradley (Greggory Peck) who discovers Ann's regal identity and bets his editor he can get an exclusive interview with her. So, Bradley shows Ann Rome, and the pair soon start catching romantic feelings. The princess realizes that she has a duty to her country and returns to the embassy and the pair go their separate ways.
Reception
The movie was a massive sucess, and was well reieved by audiences. The majority found it charming, harlious, and well done. The audience were immedialty taken by Hepburn's charisma and acting.
