Glamorous Gloria's is committed to ensuring that every dog is safe and kindly attended to during their time with us. The goal is that every dog, no matter how nervous, leaves the shop having had a positive experience and takes a big step toward feeling comfortable with the grooming process.
Where did our name come from?
Glamorous Gloria's is owned by Alyssa Archer and named after her German Shepherd, Gloria, a loving and loyal dog who has impacted. In Alyssa's own struggles with anxiety, she related to Gloria deeply in a way, making them two peas in a pod.
Inspiring her love for the German Shepherd breed and a soft spot for the large breeds in general, Alyssa believes there is nothing more special than having the trust of a dog who is untrusting of others.
In lieu of Gloria's timidity in the grooming salon compared to her excitement about brushing when in a comfortable environment at home, Alyssa has dedicated her life's work to providing an environment where even the most nervous dog's can sit back and relax during the grooming process.
